The 8th Deadly Sin has been inspired by the ultimate modern-day sin, GOSSIP. The collection draws attention to the negative side of gossip and the detrimental effect that loose lips can impact on a person’s life.
Visualising the exchange of ‘gossip’ the design features 3 dimensional mouths, eyes and ears all frozen in the act of careless whispers. With social media often the culprit for amplifying hearsay, messenger speech bubbles are incorporated into the design showcased on top of the ring, as well as detailed in the inner shank.
