During these times of responsible/sustainable luxury, what could be more so than repurposing?“RESET is working with what you already own, no matter how modest the haul. The stories live on in the parts. The great thing about fine or precious jewellery is that its elements are what retains the value. During these times of responsible/sustainable luxury, what could be more so than repurposing what has been gathered or extracted in some way from the past, and not from a mine.” - Stephen Webster MBE
The journey of a no longer worn gold necklace set with diamonds, rubies and emeralds, started with Stephen Webster analysing the materials and carefully dismantling each stone. A detailed design experience then follows; providing intricate drawings and plans to explore how the piece could be reworked into a desired Ruby Counter. Our master craftsmen based in our Mayfair workshops then deconstruct and rework the precious materials to create the 18ct rose gold and pink titanium counter, with diamond and ruby detailing.
Working closely with our talented in-house design team, the finished piece comprised of an intricate compass pendant that was truly personal.
Mounted with all of the white diamonds, each point of the compass signified the number of continents the client had travelled to with her partner.
As an additional unique touch, the adjustable clasp was crafted to depict their beloved cat.
The end result; an entirely new seductive look.
Adding a Webster-twist to create a personal and unique piece.
