Cocktales By Stephen Webster

A HEDONISTIC HISTORY OF THE RIGHT-HAND RING.

There are many theories as to the origins of the term and the subsequent mixed drink known as the cocktail, some dating back over a hundred and fifty years. The word stems from the English Cock-tail which in the 1800s referred to a woman of easy virtue who was considered desirable but impure. The word was imported along with expatriate Englishmen and applied derogatorily to the newly acquired American habit of bastardising good British gin with foreign matter, including ice, making the drink desirable but impure. The hyphen was dropped, and the term re-exported back to England in its present form.

The words ‘Cocktail’ and ‘Stephen Webster’ are pretty much INSEPARABLE when describing the ultimate mix of fine jewellery combined with totally unforgettable evenings.

Held at the London Flagship Salon, the exhibition combines the opulence, glamour, and hedonism, of the Cocktail Ring, with signature cocktails from Stephen Webster.

THE ALL ABOUT EVE RING paired with THE BOA CONSTRICTOR
