At this time, the iconic New York department store, Bergdorf Goodman, was the first to embrace Crystal Haze. Crystal Haze is a signature technique created by Stephen Webster, whereby two stones are layered and bonded together to create a ‘holographic’ haze of colour. This innovative new aesthetic quickly became known as the ultimate ‘women’s self-purchase’ collection and was a status for independence; bought and worn by women, for enjoyment rather than commitment.
This key period in Webster’s journey is one that is still a point of inspiration, and as we flash forward 25 years, we celebrate this iconic year of Crystal Haze with a new contemporary edit; the CH2 Collection.
