RESET | JESSIE'S STORY

We believe you don’t always need to buy new jewellery. Everyone has items in their jewellery box that just need a refresh or some TLC.

We launched RESET, our in-house jewellery recycling design service, as an initiative that repurposes beloved items of jewellery, turning them into modern, current pieces, reusing as many different parts as possible, creating a circular economy.

JESSIE'S STORY

Jessie came to Stephen Webster with her mother's extraordinary wedding ring from 1975. The piece was a memento of her mother, who recently passed away.

She also brought to us a beautiful round-cut Diamond - a Memorial stone created from her mother's ashes.

Here's Stephen and our master craftsman, Mike, discussing the RESET project in our workshop.

When Stephen learned the full story behind the Diamond, he was very moved by it. He proposed to set it into the tear-shaped part of the wedding ring, sustaining the unusual beauty of the original piece. Our master craftsman, Mike, finalised the project.

Stephen was there to see Jessie's reaction to her RESET project first hand.

It's fair to say Jessie was blown away with what Stephen Webster was able to do with her mother's wedding ring.

See the ring below in all it's glory.

It's not your conventional RESET project, but a very special one, indeed.

Bring your jewels to RESET, and we’ll make them into something new and relevant.
