SKYDIAMOND
Skydiamond, created by entrepreneur and environmentalist, Dale Vince OBE, are physically and chemically identical to earth-mined Diamonds. Their creation and journey, however, is entirely different.
Skydiamonds are created in an ultra-modern way, using carbon captured from the atmosphere, the actual air we pollute and breathe. The mining process is entirely ‘green’, using renewable energy generated from wind and the sun by Ecotricity. Sky-mining vacuums extract this air and the invisible particles of harmful man-generated carbons and feed the carbon into the lab to grow Skydiamonds. The only element put back out into the atmosphere is cleaner air, which is why Skydiamonds are recognised as carbon negative British-crafted diamonds.

THE JOURNEY
Our journey with Skydiamond began over 7 years ago when Dale Vince, visited our London office for a meeting with Stephen. With him, he brought a small packet containing three brown crystals. We tested them and they were 100% the same characteristics as diamonds, only not like any diamonds we had seen before. We were hooked!
Some five years after continual research and development, Skydiamond perfected their process, creating the Skydiamonds we see today – an innovative product Stephen Webster are excited to collaborate on and launch to market.

Keeping with the modernity of the Skydiamond process, the capsule collection includes four exclusive Stephen Webster cuts inspired by space and the sky; Stellar, Volt, Rocket and Meteoric, with each piece crafted in 18 carat Single Mine Origin Gold. The range has a nod to alternative bridal, offering contemporary designs for those looking for genuine change with a compelling story behind an important purchase.
The showstopper of the Skydiamond collaboration are the Orbital Piercer Earrings. Inspired by orbiting space debris; the exclusive Skydiamond cuts create the illusion of the aftermath of a meteoric shower, pelting into light-weight metallic blue Titanium.

THE EXCLUSIVE CUTS
To mark Stephen Webster as the first designer to incorporate Skydiamonds within a collection, we wanted to break with all tradition and design four exclusive cuts to showcase these futuristic gems.
We have reserved our custom cuts for stones of 0.14cts and above, with all stones 0.50cts and above certified by AnchorCert Gemologist certification.
